How to unblur a photo with Glow
- Open Glow and tap Enhance.
- Pick a photo from your gallery.
- Wait a few seconds while Glow sharpens it.
- Slide across the result to compare before and after, then save it to your phone or share it.
What Enhance fixes
- Soft focus and motion blur in portraits and group shots.
- Low resolution: small, pixelated images from old phones, screenshots or messaging apps.
- Faces: Face Enhancement restores eyes, skin and hair detail so people look like themselves again.
Tips for the best result
- Use the largest version of the photo you have. Glow can only rebuild detail that is partly there.
- Faces should be visible and not tiny in the frame.
- For old prints, scan or photograph them flat in even light, then run Colorize after Enhance if they're black and white.
Limits
Enhance works on still photos, not video. Results are generated by AI, so very small or heavily blurred faces can come out looking slightly different from the real person. Always compare before you save.

- Blurry phone photos and screenshots
- Old, low-resolution family pictures
- Profile photos that need to look sharp
Not for

- Professional retouching where every pixel must stay original
Questions
Can Glow unblur a photo?
Yes. Enhance sharpens soft or blurry photos and restores facial detail in HD. Very heavy blur can only be partly recovered.
Is it free?
Glow is free to download. The photo tools are part of the Glow subscription: $1.99 a week, $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year on the US App Store. The app shows the exact price for your country before you pay, and you can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play settings. See pricing.
What happens to my photo?
Your photo is uploaded securely and processed once to create your result, which appears in your in-app Gallery. Glow doesn't collect or store face data, and you can delete any result from the Gallery. Details are in the privacy policy.
Does it work on old photos?
Yes. Scan or photograph the print, run Enhance to sharpen it, then use Colorize if it's black and white.
