What is Glow?

Glow – AI Enhance Photo Editor is an app for iPhone, iPad and Android that enhances blurry photos, removes backgrounds and objects, colorizes black and white photos, turns selfies into cartoons and stickers, and creates original images from text in Glow Studio. It is made by Halberd LLC in Columbus, Ohio.

Is Glow free?

Glow is free to download. The photo tools are part of the Glow subscription: $1.99 a week, $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year on the US App Store. The app shows the exact price for your country before you pay, and you can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play settings. See pricing.

Does Glow have ads?

Free users see ads. A Glow subscription removes them.

Does Glow add a watermark?

No. Results you save or share from Glow have no watermark.

Do I need an account?

No. Glow has no sign-in. Your results are linked to your device, and you can see them in the app's Results tab.

Does Glow work offline?

No. Every tool runs on Glow's servers, so you need an internet connection. Without one, the app shows an offline screen until you reconnect.

Can Glow edit videos?

No. Glow works on still photos only. It has no video enhancement.

Can I edit several photos at once?

No. Each tool takes one photo at a time. Results appear in your Results tab as they finish, so you can start the next photo while one is processing.

Which devices does Glow run on?

iPhone and iPad (portrait), Macs with Apple silicon through the App Store, and Android 7.0 or later. The App Store and Google Play listings show the current minimum system version.

What languages is Glow in?

English. The app interface is in English only for now.

How do I save or share a result?

Open the result in the Results tab and tap Save (it goes to your photo library) or Share. Results are saved as JPG images.

How do Studio credits work?

Each Glow Studio image costs 1 credit at Draft quality (about 1 megapixel) or 2 credits at Detailed quality (about 2 megapixels). New devices get 5 free credits, a Glow subscription adds 300 credits every month, and packs of 100 or 500 credits are sold in the app. See pricing.

What happens to my photo?

Your photo is uploaded securely and processed once to create your result, which appears in your in-app Gallery. Glow doesn't collect or store face data, and you can delete any result from the Gallery. Details are in the privacy policy.

How do I delete my data?

Delete any single result from its screen in the app. To delete everything, follow the steps on Delete your data.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

What if a result looks wrong or inappropriate?

Every result has a Report this result button. Glow also checks Studio prompts and every result with an automated content filter, and results it blocks are labeled in the app.
